Our "continuous" single line reefing system involves a minor no-cost modification to our standard slab reefing boom, the addition of a reef line fairlead to the mast, and blocks sewn into the luff and leech of the mainsail at each reef point. As with our standard single line reefing system, only 2 reefs can be configured in this way: a third reef point can be fitted, but it must be a slab reef.
