SEPTEMBER 2008: Mirror Dinghy Class Results 2008
Z Spars origionally made its name producing world beating dinghy spars. More recently, the company has focussed on spars for larger vessels, but we still know how to make a successful dinghy mast! The Mirror Dinghy is a good example. Here are some of the successes in 2008.
Congratulations to the following Mirror sailors, all using Z Spar masts.

Peter Morton and his crew of Kelvin Rawlings, John Newnham, Stuart Childerly and John Kemp are the 2007 Coutts Quarter Ton Cup Champions. Peter first sailed in the event in 1977 (with a Z Spars rig, of course), and bettered his 2006 result (see below) to beat a very competitive fleet. 'Espada' carried her 2006 mast - a Z Spars Z230. Paul Kelsey in 'Runaway Bus' (Z230 mast) was 5th overall. Peter and Paul between them won 6 of the 9 races.
